We had our outside faucet back up and blow a hole in the wall where our hot water heater is located. There was about 1 inch of water on the ground, but our hot water heater is on a taller concrete base. It started smelling like it was burning and we shut the fuses off to it. It still smells a little even without power to it. What could be wrong?

Every wire junction needs to be looked at to find what was burning. Both appliances really should remain off until this is done or there is some pretty serious risk 😯

ps. Of course, it’s a holiday weekend!
