I had a oil fired hot water heater and always had PLENTY of hot water. When the water heater went, I was talked into an INDIRECT system and now I don’t have enough hot water for even 1 shower. After trying different things the company said my burner has the wrong size nozzle on it (.85) and should have 1.25. I had someone come in and change the nozzle to a 1 and also a 1.25 and the water temperature still dropped. The installer is ready to give up on me and I say if the system doesn’t work with my boiler they should take it out and put in an oil fired system since that system worked well. Any suggestionsz?

I think it might be best to direct you to a site run by a friend of ours, heatinghelp.com. Dan Holohan has a board which was a model for this one — The Wall — and you’re likely to find better answers to this sort of question there.
