When I turn on any faucet in my house, it can produce very hot water. However, when I turn on any of my showers to the hottest setting, only warm water comes out. Is there a way to adjust the shower to put out hotter water? I’m assuming it’s not a tank problem?
I was going to leave this alone, since I can’t offer a complete answer, but I’ll tell you what I know. It’s definitely not the water heater or it would be same everywhere. I believe your shower control can be adjusted, but I don’t know how to do it.
Hello: The newer style valves are pressure or temperature balanced to prevent scalding. These have stops built in which can be adjusted. The task varies by make and model, so info from the manufacturer is the best way to go for your specific shower valve.
