I haven’t found this question answered anywhere, so I’m posting it here.

I’m wondering if using a flexible anode rod in a hot water tank with a ‘roto-swirl’ (curved inlet tube) would work OK. Will the swirling action of the water inside the tank, as it fills, cause the flexible anode rod to move around and hit the inside of the tank? Is this a problem, or not?

    Any insight would be appreciated.

You haven’t seen it because it’s not a problem.
