I am attaching a picture of my system, it is plumbed in from the top of the tank where the relief valve is, and then it circulates down through the bottom and out the drain. Then the other two lines are from the house, cold water in, and what would be hot water out. I replaced the pump, but it was leaking, but all else was well. When I got back into the line to fix the leak and put it back together, now the pump is pumping, but the top supply line of hot water from the boiler is never getting hot. the bottom line is plently hot, and the pump is real hot. I can’t figure it out. Do I have an airbubble that won’t let the water circulate?

You could very well have an airlocked pump unless you flushed air out of the system after working on it. We advocate that pumps be plumbed to facilitate that flushing. You can find a diagram and a picture for that at http://www.waterheaterrescue.com/pages/WHRpages/English/Commercial/recirc-valving.html
