How do I clear the cold water line? Not sure if you need to know that I have a water softener. I smell sulfur in both hot and cold lines but it goes away after a minute of continuous running. Once the water sits for any length of time, the smell returns.

I’ve read about bleaching-peroxide-baking soda and even vinegar. My house is 10 years old and I have a State electric water heater.

I’ve also been thinking and looking into buying a tankless system, maybe you can shed some light on the better option. I have no plans on moving anytime soon.
