Hello, It’s a new product (to me anyway) so although 316-l stainless sounds good, the warranty is really the measure of how sturdy the company feels the unit is. I found they only warrant the tank for ten years if you register it online. Seven years otherwise. This seems rather un-exceptional to me. As the tank has no anode, it certainly would be good to consider for odor problems. Also, I’m not a fan of electronics as they often cause heaters to fail in strange and expensive ways. I see the warranty on parts is only one year.
