Fair enough. The unit theoretically with the powered anode rod and softened water should be producing 0 sediment. Still need to keep an eye on the rust issue, even after replacing that fitting I still see some rust on first use of the day … hopefully it clears out and is not something more serious with using the powered anode rod in the 6 gallon unit. Sounds like I may be the only one doing this and the brass connections are geographically closer to the powered anode rod in this small of a tank.
