The Tank Replace gas control valve myself?? Reply To: Replace gas control valve myself??

Hello: I’d be tempted to have a look at the anode in the tank first. If it has some/any life left in it, the tank is likely able to be kept going. If so, replace/have replaced the anode and gas control. Although I usually encourage do it yourself work, gas is a different story. There is way too much that can be done wrong, creating a hazard. A pro can make it look simple, but it takes a lot of experience and education to make the work look easy .
