The new anode we ordered helps increase the amount of time that we need before adding peroxide to the water heater, but the rotten egg smell keeps returning. Since the smell eventually becomes noticeable on the cold side, we have also re-chlorinated the well. However, we now smell it when running the cold water tap or flushing the toilet.

I was wondering, other than just chlorinating the well 3-4 times a year, if installing a UV filter before or after our whole-house carbon filter might help? Any advice would be appreciated.
