Flip breaker fully off then back on… Test for 240 volt across top two screws of upper thermostat … tape tester leads to wood sticks to keep hands away from live power…press in reset button on upper thermostat, the test for 240 volt across both screws of upper element… make sure water heater insulation and cover are reinstalled when finished…
