If it is also passivated, then we can infer that passivation is an issue of water or the tank itself, while if it is corroding normally, we might infer that it’s an issue anode to anode.
It seems to me that you, Larry, have assumed it’s water conditions, but this is softened water. It should be corroding normally or more rapidly than normal.
