The Tank All new parts, yet no hot water (electric) Reply To: All new parts, yet no hot water (electric)

I didn’t mean to say that I have it figured out, I’m just 99% sure i don’t have a leak, or at least if it was one not one big enough that the tank won’t hold water for more than a minute. I’d be able to see that under the skirting of the home. When I said there were no leaks, that’s because there were that were repaired, and i visually cannot see any other leaks throughout the home, or mildew on walls, floors, or hear any sort of dripping, trickling or running. I’m not ruling out the possibility but if there are no symptoms the leak would have to be insignificant. As stated, The only way for the tank to build ANY hot water is to shut off the hot main, and when I do that, I only get about a gallon or two of very hot water.
