This kit comprises a .90-inch-diameter (45 percent more than a standard factory anode) solid combo magnesium anode rod (about 48 inches of overhead clearance needed). The anode is 48 inches long. It has a 6-inch PEX-lined steel nipple, a custom-bent curved dip tube with 6-inch nipple, ball-valve drain assembly with cap, Water Heater Workbook, pipe thread seal tape and instructions.

The anode provides rust protection equivalent to a 12-year-warranty tank and the flush kit lets you control sediment buildup simply by hooking up a hose and running the water under pressure for five minutes. Please tell us the distance from the top of the heater to the drain valve so we can custom-bend the dip tube.
