Tankless water
heaters have been heavily advertised in recent years, and heat-pump
water heaters are seen as the wave of the future. They have experienced
high sales growth, yet those sales are still a tiny fraction of
the overall market. What makes up the rest? The ubiquitous plain-vanilla
tank-type electric and gas heaters that are cheaper to buy and simpler
