Welcome to The Tank, a forum and community for those with water heaters. Feel free to post questions about problems you're having or comment on just about anything. We intend this to be a place where problems are resolved and the exchange of ideas and information comes to a full boil.

For a long time, The Tank was wide open -- anybody could post -- but we got spammed really badly. 'Bout shut us down! Anybody can still look at all the posts and likely, by searching, find solutions to their problems. But if you want to ask a question, you'll have to register. That locks out the spam bots. It won't be used for any sort of solicitation.

We know that other, highly qualified professionals visit this site. We invite you to weigh in on the various topics. We will attempt to answer all questions that come our way, but second (and third, fourth and beyond) opinions are always welcome!
